Sealing of reinforcement connections. Sealing of floor drains. Installation: Remove silicone paper and stick two rings of EXPANSION TAPE SK around the pipe, which has to be sealed. Butt against the joint ends, no overlaps. The surface of the pipes has to be hard. EXPANSION TAPE SK adheres to metal, plastic, PVC and stone. If necessary secure EXPANSION TAPE SK by using a binding wire.

Durch das Aufquellen und den beim Quellvorgang entstehenden Quelldruck wird ein Eindringen des Wassers verhindert. Das Bentonitquellband ist eine in Wasser quellfähige Dichtung. Es besteht aus fein vermahlenem, hochquellfähigem Tonmineral (Natrium-Bentonit), eingebettet, als Bindemittel, in eine Matrix aus nicht vulkanisiertem Kautschuk. Zur besseren Witterungsbeständigkeit ist es mit einer sich im Beton selbstauflösenden Folie umhüllt. Achtung! Quellband nicht direkt nageln, nicht kleben - Befestigung nur mit Gitter!
