VIBA Sinterflex waterstop sheet
Our VIBA Sinterflex waterstop sheet is coated on both sides with a patented “active” special coating. This coating is non-sticky and does not require any protective film to be removed before concreting. The coating bonds with the concrete through a natural reaction with the surrounding concrete, thereby actively sealing the joint to be waterproofed. The joint is actively sintered by the special coating and therefore becomes increasingly dense over time. This process is referred to as active sintering or active mineralizing deep sealing. The unique bond between the active VIBA Sinterflex special coating and fresh concrete reliably prevents water from migrating around the VIBA Sinterflex waterstop system. For secure sealing, a concrete embedment of only 3 cm is sufficient. VIBA Sinterflex is water-reactive and therefore actively seals construction joints and designed crack joints through a natural concrete-technology process.
Water pressures up to and including 5 bar = 50 m water column can be safely sealed.
